‘Disney’s Broadway Hits at Royal Albert Hall’ (2016) [Coming to Disney Plus]

Disney has run the Broadway Hits program at Royal Albert Hall twice – once in 2016 and then again in 2019. One of the 2016 performances was recorded on video and will be streaming on Disney+ September 17th, 2021.

The title had previously been leaked as arriving July 2nd, but that did not happen as Disney chose to strangely not follow up on last year’s Hamilton 4th of July extravaganza with anything special.

Disney adding more taped Broadway is nothing to squabble about! Hopefully taped performances of The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Frozen will follow in the near future.
