UPDATE APRIL 4th: Disney has made changes yet again, and you won’t be happy. The first-ever Rated R film, Kiss of the Dragon is no longer coming. They also added 2 more international shows to the list, but removed 12 titles that were in the April 1st video. This unprofessional back and forth has resulted in nobody having a clue what’s actually arriving. The “Next on Disney+” video has been set to private. Hopefully they provide a full and proper video quickly and finally settle the list.
On April 1st, Disney put out their usual “Next on Disney+” video. The video dramatically improved the terrible, insulting content list they sent out to the press 2 weeks earlier. You remember it, right? It contained 2 catalog titles total and the rest were just Earth Day specials? The video increased the quantity of titles by 281.82%!! (11 to 42.)
Here’s the video if you don’t believe us (even though we solely speak truths and share information that we’ve vetted to the best of our abilities). ❤️
We thought you might like to see the TRUE list since the other major entertainment sites reposted the greatly outdated list on April 1st. We actually have an article coming soon about this particular issue and how it relates to Disney+ Communications team. Let’s just say you can ALWAYS trust us to get you the closest to accurate information online.

Kiss of the Dragon THE FIRST RATED R FILM ON DISNEY+ USA!!!!! (Although we hope they do a content drop on the empty Friday earlier in the month with multiple Rated R films. This would be quite awkward time to add raunchy and violent content [it’s Good Friday], but it’s what we desire…)[Removed from DMED Press Site]
So there you have it. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more content than they initially announced. Are you satisfied? Yes, they completely shut out vintage content and classic shorts again but… at this point we have to accept that’s forevermore the case.
It’s still a lot better. Right?
The only MAJOR gap we still see: only 1 recent Nat Geo – Life Below Zero Season 18. The other Nat Geo stuff they added are international series (!) which is so cool but usually they do 3-5 batches of current shows to stay relevant.
Where are Wicked Tuna Season 11, Dr. Pol Season 20, Life Below Zero Next Generation Seasons 3 AND 4, Car SOS Season 9, Wizard of PAWS (Season 2), and Something Bit Me Season 1? If you follow our Nat Geo library progress page you’d see they’ve fallen strangely behind. We expect a few unannounced batches to appear, to be honest.
