Despite multiple removals in YEAR ONE, The Sandlot has returned for the 3rd time. Sandlot 2 is back as well on the same day. Both were on Starz for the past year. As of now all 3 Sandlot films are streaming on Disney+ at the same time for the first time in the USA.
Do not get comfortable – we’ve covered quite well how the Fox library is barely accessible by Disney due to an enormous amount of pre-existing contracts signed by Fox that stretch into the latter half of 2020s.
Synopses:
Sandlot 1 – In the summer of 1962, a new kid in town is taken under the wing of a young baseball prodigy and his rowdy team, resulting in many adventures.
Sandlot 2 – A film about a group of young baseball-enthusiasts who test the terrifying myth of Mr. Mertle owning a freakishly large and dangerous dog in his backyard.
