After an amazing April lineup, HBO has a lot to do to match the hype in May. They’ve done a great job. We’re excited for Hacks season 2. The first was an excellent comedy surprise. Kids will surely love the Sesame Street Mecha series. Doctor Who and Sherlock fans may be interested in Stephen Moffat’s grand return to showrunning when his take on The Time Traveler’s Wife begins streaming on May 15. Not only that, we’ve got the return of Michael Che’s sketch comedy series, That Damn Michael Che.
Library highlights include 2 of the final Universal films to enter Pay 1 on HBO Max – Old and Dear Evan Hansen. That only leaves Candyman to finish the 2021 slate. The 2022 slate and beyond go to Peacock. As always, no missing Cartoon Network is coming. Latin AMerica continues to add titles like Johnny Bravo, but USA is out of luck.
